Who are we
We are Christians that love and serve our Heavenly Father. We work under the authority of our local church and have a desire to serve people by pointing them to Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
The Idea
The idea for this page began during the unprecedented shutdown of 2020. Times were, and still are, very uncertain. Many are fearful of the future but Jesus offers hope. We are happy to pray with you and for you. You can use the contact us page, call in or comment for prayer.
The Name
The Illinois University hosts their annual Christmas tradition of Dial-A-Carol. During the Christmas season, you can call in and request carols to be sung by IU students during finals week of the fall semester. We thought, why not Dial-A-Pastor as a way for people in need to find pastors willing to listen and pray for them.
What We’re Doing
Dial-A- Pastor has grown and morphed since 2020. We have a heart for Missouri. We’ve been networking with local pastors to provide Bibles to the incoming Freshman at the state capitol. We’ve been holding public readings of Scripture in a suburb of Kansas City, MO on Friday evenings in the middle of the bar district pointing people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are praying for opportunities to spend weekends at the towns that house Missouri’s county seats. Spending time in prayer and finding a local church where we could give the Pastor a Sunday off, borrowing the pulpit to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and him crucified. Our Dream
We would like to partner with solid Bible preaching pastors over the state of Missouri specifically, but maybe someday over the country to reach a lost an dying world to the glory of God.
